LEKLI Announces that the National Agency for Medicines and Medical Devices of Albania, has granted the Marketing
Authorization for Dapagliflozin (DAPRO L).

DAPRO L belongs to a group of SGLT2 inhibitors, a class of medicines used to lower blood glucose levels in people with type 2 diabetes and slows the progression of kidney disease.

They work by blocking the SGLT2 protein in your kidney. By blocking this protein, blood sugar (glucose), salt (sodium) and water are removed from your body via the urine. DAPRO L 5 mg and 10 mg is a medicine used to treat type 2 diabetes in adults and children aged 10 years, heart failure and chronic kidney disease.
